You may not know this, but there are nearly 34,000 different species of spiders around the world. Luckily Florida is not home to all of those species, however Florida is home to numerous kinds of both poisonous & non-poisonous types of spiders such as the Jumping Spider, Shiny Orb Spider, Wolf Spider, Crab Spider and others. Adding to the challenge of the many different types of Florida spiders is the fact that it is quite difficult to tell the difference between poisonous & non-poisonous types of spiders just by looking at them.
